The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Symposium Dining Table by Valcucine

A rigorous compilation of slender lines and refined shapes, the Symposium dining table makes a suitable complement to any of Valcucine’s contemporary kitchen systems

The table features an intentional gap between its surface and its supporting legs, giving the impression that the former is effortlessly hovering about the latter. Each element – the tabletop, leg profile and calculated gap – measures in at one centimetre in thick, resulting in well-balanced proportions that enhance the floating effect (a concealed internal aluminum structure ensures stability and steadiness).

Available in six widths and two depths, Symposium can be specified in a range of finishes that can be mixed and matched to create textured, monochrome and dual-tone expressions.

Material options include wood, Tech Ceramic (a scratch-, stain- and heat-resistant composite) and a variety of the brand’s digitally printed vitrum glasses: from standard glossy or matte and Vitrum Mimesis (a natural stone look) to Graphic Vitrum (nature-inspired patterns), Tactile Vitrum (textured surfaces) and Vitrum Arte (a collection of bold artistic graphics).
