Summer 2026

The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

The AZ Awards issue packs much more than our winners and finalists — though they certainly take pride of place. (And you can read all about them on our dedicated AZ Awards site.)

Tallat table by Tina Vaia Studio

The new Tallat table collection from Tina Vaia Studio takes inspiration from mid-century elegance, celebrating its vibrant and influential history with a modern twist.

The made-to-order Tallat table by Tina Vaia Studio is hand-crafted with a local ceramic atelier and wood workshop

Based in Valencia, Spain, the studio is helmed by multidisciplinary designer, spatial brand design specialist and ceramic artist Tina Vaia, who devised the Tallat table as a harmonious blending of traditional techniques and contemporary artistry.

The Tallat table from Tina Vaia Studio is meticulously hand-crafted and draws on the influence of mid-century design and 1970s tiled coffee tables. Utilizing hand-glazed tiles (sourced from a local ceramic atelier) on a sturdy wood base (created in partnership with a nearby wood workshop), the made-to-order Tallat table can be completely customized for colour, pattern and size. The table can also be made suitable for outdoor use.

Working closely with the ceramic atelier, Tina Vaia Studio carefully kiln-fires each tile to the desired depth and range of colour before laying each out to create the perfect balance of colours before fixing them in place.

Tiles can be matched to any RAL colour reference, with the glazed finish adding nuance and variation during the firing process; for further tailoring, both the size of the Tallat table and the size of the tiles used can be adapted per order.

Committed to sustainability, Tina Vaia Studio prefers made-to-order over mass-produced and regularly collaborates with smaller studios to ensure a high-quality outcome while supporting local businesses.

A playful yet elegant way to introduce colour, texture and warmth, the Tallat table makes a stunning centerpiece in a living room, a handy and handsome side table or a display plinth in a showroom.
