The AZURE Houses issue returns in 2026 with stunning, innovative residential projects from Canada and around the world. Plus, we take a look at that seeming relic of the past: the mall.

Teknion developed its Tek Vue glass office-front system to be effortlessly integrated into existing building constructions. The walls and doors feature horizontal profiles that are 3.5-cm thick and 6.35-cm high and can hold a single-centred 10mm or 12mm laminated or tempered glass element.

The system offers two door programs: a pivot door with single universal frame for frameless glass, framed glass or solid leaf, each offering different acoustic and visual privacy levels; and a barn door that consists of a universal door frame and economical frameless glass leaf, which has an adjustable top rail that can mount to interior or exterior storefronts without a third post.

Both doors have similar hardware options for visual consistency, and a variety of frame finishes and glass types are offered.
