A collaboration between London-based bed-maker Savoir and multi-disciplinary studio Winch Design, the Tranquility bed blends high-quality British craftsmanship with the elegance and romance of the golden age of travel.

Renowned for its bespoke superyachts, private jets and luxury residences, Winch Design – led by furniture designer and associate Michael Noah – created the Tranquility bed for Savoir as a modern interpretation of the grandeur of 1930s ocean liners.

The Tranquility bed features a graceful frame that references the sweeping lines of yacht interiors, while its soft, natural colour palette nods to the serene beauty of open water and sunlit decks.

Reminiscent of classic sleigh beds, Tranquility from Savior refines the silhouette with a modern edge. Sitting at the intersection of tradition and contemporary elegance, the sleeper is intended as an island of calm and a sanctuary for rest and relaxation.

Savior’s master artisans upholster each Tranquility bed in a buttery-soft leather, which beautifully complements the figured anegre timber trim. Saddle-stitch detailing accentuates the leather where the hides intersect.

A bespoke Winch mattress is accompanied by a Savior No. 4 spring base and a hair and wool topper, all of which are meticulously crafted in the British brand’s Bedworks in Wales. Reading lights from Chelsom in a golden bronze finish are integrated into the headboard, and matching nightstands are available that further evoke classic transatlantic voyages.
