Coinciding with global reopening strategies, the new Shade Shield accessory was developed for use at outdoor eating areas in restaurants and hotels as well as for offices, campuses and other social areas where physical distancing needs to be maintained. 

The easy-to-install shade can be retrofit to existing parasols by Tuuci, both square or rectangular, or ordered as an accessory when purchasing. Easily removable and cleanable, the shades are available in nine widths and are attached to an umbrella via marine-grade fabric ties that are looped over the frame rib ends and under the canopy. Fabric pouches included are to be filled with sand or other weight and attached to the bottom of the shade to keep it in place. Made from clear vinyl the shades over protection without detracting from sightlines and views.
