Italian designer Andrea Parisio conceived the Vetra storage cabinet for Brianza-based manufacturer Meridiani to be an architectural structure that combines compact and solid volumes.
With a steady rhythm and low-slung profile, the Vetra storage cabinet by Andrea Parisio for Meridiani has a pleasing formality to it, one that is supported by its simple yet durable materials. The unit’s monolithic base can be covered in marble, steel, wood or lacquer, and serves as the main support for the individual doored or drawered storage units; compartments with single, double and triple cavities are available and the doors and drawers can be specified in natural oak or glossy and matte lacquer.
The individual volumes of the Vetra storage cabinet can be freely positioned along the base, forming a variety of arrangements that suit individual needs and wants, lending an interior space both a practical and attractive quality. Dimensions for the individual units of the Vetra storage cabinet are available in three widths – 50, 100 and 150 centimetres.
Flexible and adaptable, the composition of the Vetra storage cabinet can be easily reconfigured as needs and spaces change. Two different sizes of optional cylindrical cushions can also be added to the structured landscape, weaving in a new shape and texture.
The Vetra storage cabinet by Andrea Parisio for Meridiani makes a striking form in any living space, and can be composed as visually uniform while also expressing a mix of complementary materials.
