Originally created by architect and designer Vilhelm Lauritzen in the 1940s, the VL Ring Crown was recently put back into production by Danish lighting manufacturer Louis Poulsen.
The elegant fixture features an untreated polished brass framework and can be specified as a pendant with three, five or seven shades, or as a wall lamp with single or double shades; the shades are made from triple-layered and mouth-blown glossy white opaline glass.
While primarily casting light downwards, the glass shade’s finish diffuses uniform illumination around the fixture.
