Swedish flooring brand Bjelin has introduced the new Woodura Herringbone 2.0 collection as a modern interpretation of a timeless classic.

Made from responsibly sourced FSC-certified Croatian oak, the sustainable Woodura Herringbone 2.0 collection is influenced by Scandinavian nature, with each piece meticulously crafted for seamless installation into everyday modern life.

Highly durable, the Woodura Herringbone 2.0 collection from Bjelin is engineered with patented Woodura technology and an advanced 5G floor locking system, which imparts three times the strength and dent-resistance of traditional wood floors.

The specialized technology compresses and hardens wood, which results in superior strength and a surface that never needs to be sanded. Thinner surface layers are used during production to create ten times more flooring than typical methods, making this option cost-effective while also minimizing environmental impact.

Woodura Herringbone 2.0 has a moisture-resistant Välinge Compositek wood core, which is made by fusing the veneer and core with a unique powder mix to create a transition zone. This provides the material with a higher surface density and improved swelling.

Available in larger format panels of 54.6 by 8.8 centimetres, the flooring is an ideal option for spacious rooms. A further benefit is the brand’s 5G click technology that makes for less labour-intensive and DIY installations with no gaps between the panels without glue or nails. Multiple patterns can be achieved during installation, including traditional herringbone, double, triple, ladder and blocks.

The Woodura Herringbone 2.0 collection from Bjelin has a pro matte finish surface treatment to make the panels extremely durable and therefore suitable for high-traffic commercial spaces as well as residential. Three colourway options are available: Misty White, Natural and Earth Gray.
