To make the graphically beautiful X-Stool for Bolia, Spanish design studio MUT joined together two identical moulded plywood sheets using a simple metal fixture.
The result is a simple yet impactful design that stands sculpturally when not in use as a seat or small side table. The matte lacquered oak highlights the natural grain of the wood incorporating it as part of the overall design.
