The Museum of Finnish Architecture, together with Aalto University, hosts this lecture by Fala Atelier as part of its Architecture Speaks series. The overall theme of the talks focuses on the architect’s role and societal responsibility in the era of artificial intelligence. Activism in architecture, whether through social housing, inclusivity issues, biodiversity, new building materials, circular economy, or architectural representation, is a means to act within the profession.
The Portuguese office Fala atelier is known for wonderful residential projects and for its alternative architectural representation. In a world of hyperrealistic representations it is interesting to find those who question the conventional architectural practices. Fala atelier is interested in how the original graphic representation is interpreted in the final built result.
