Ruché Bed by Ligne Roset

Ruché, designed by Inga Sempé for Ligne Roset, brings together hand craftsmanship and innovative machine work with a poetic result, highlighted by its undulating quilting which creates a series of welcoming curves.

Pink quilted sofa

This detail is special to Ligne Roset, as the brand has invested in automated quilting machines at their factory in Briord, France, that are specifically programmed for the unique stitching needs of the Ruché collection.

Blue quilted armchairs

These machines, coupled with the expertly trained handwork that Ligne Roset artisans are known for, create beautiful pieces to last a lifetime.

The collection includes a bed, sofa, left and right armchairs, and a footstool with a variety of wood finishes for the base and hundreds of upholstery fabric and colour options.

The bed is available with headboards of any size and is totally customizable, making it a great choice for hospitality projects.

Bed with white upholstered headboard

Ruché’s distinct quilting is a kind of boutis stitch of padding made using a cross-hatching of interrupted seams. Alternately flattened by the stitches then set free, the fabric curls in places, giving rise both to its unique appearance and to its name, Ruché — gathered or pleated fabric which serves as decoration on a piece of clothing.

In addition to its inviting appearance, Ruché, especially in its bed version, prioritizes comfort. The headboard cushion is made of polyurethane foam, while the cover of the headboard and bed frame is quilted with polyester and hyper flexible polyurethane foam.
