Atlanta-based wallpaper-design and creative studio Faye Bell has launched one new collection – Cabochon – and updated an original pattern – Dreamhouse – with three new colourways.
Named after the process of cutting and polishing gemstones, the Cabochon collection of wallpaper designed by studio founder Faye Bell depicts a repeated series of gemstone with a strong sense of both geometry and organic fluidity. Referencing the “en cabochon” style, which sees opaque gemstones with elliptical shapes and smooth surfaces, the Cabochon collection of wallpaper features a precise 68.5-by-88.9-centimetre repeat that mimics the look of ovular bezels holding polished gemstones.
As statement-making as a well-crafted piece of jewellery, the Cabochon wallpaper collection is bold and captivating and able to transform an interior space. Printed to order on 68.5-centimetre-wide standard clay-coated grounds (high-use Type II grounds can also be specified), the Cabochon collection is offered in five colourways: Jasper, Pearl, Rose Quartz, Sunstone and Malachite.
Meanwhile, Dreamhouse, one of Faye Bell’s debut patterns, has been updated with three new colourways that inject the playful and spirited motif with a more saturated and elevated palette. Reminiscent to a game of cloud gazing, the rolling contours and abstract nature of the Dreamhouse pattern is open to personal interpretation.
Whether one sees gently undulating ocean waves or concentric bands of delicate mushrooms sprouting from a tree or the outline of a mountain range, the Dreamhouse pattern introduces an expansive and expressive sense of movement. The three new colourways – Atlantis, Camo and Fleur – join the previously available Celeste, Monie, Elmer, Radley, Amelia, Penn, Daphne and Harriet, to bring the total amount of options to 11. Dreamhouse is printed to order on 137.1-centimetre-wide standard clay-coated grounds or 132-centimetre-wide Type II vinyl.
