Designed to create an ongoing dialogue between the indoors and the outdoors, the Fragmentum table from Giorgetti is part of the brand’s Open Air collection, which translates its luxury indoor furniture for the outdoors.
Minimalist and modular, the Fragmentum table from Giorgetti was devised as an open composition that can be customized and configured to suit a variety of spaces and settings.
The Fragmentum table features five irregularly shaped cast-glass tiles that have been finished with white lacquered backs; the glass tiles have a compellingly textured surface that invites exploration. The non-orthogonal forms allow the table to be combined and multiplied with others, offering compositional freedom in both outdoor and indoor scenarios.
Supporting the back-painted glass tiles is an AISI 316L stainless steel structure, which lends the table strength and durability. The structure is composed of cylinders with different diameters arranged both vertically and horizontally. The effect is one that provides balance and lightness.
Not considered a standalone piece, the Fragmentum table from Giorgetti is meant to be an open system, one in which multiple tables can be arranged together without limitation or restriction.
Designed by creative director Giancarlo Bosio and the Giorgetti R&D team, the Fragmentum table intentionally challenges the conventional table typology, with its non-fixed shape and sleek frame creating a dynamic formation.
With the Open Air collection, Giorgetti translates the elegance of its indoor offerings for the outdoors and features modular sofas, dining tables, armchairs and sunshades.
