Italian designer Franco Poli was inspired by the forms of leaves, branches and other natural surfaces when creating his Organic table collection for Midj. Stepping away from the rigidity of traditional geometries, the dining and coffee tables are defined by fluidity.
With spontaneous yet balanced proportions, the individual pieces in the Organic table collection were conceived as a transversal family — one that can adapt naturally to a variety of settings, from domestic spaces to hospitality settings and outdoor areas.
The distinctive base of the Organic table encapsulates its expressive form and is available in powder-coated metal or spatulated cement. A first-ever material option for Midj, the spatulated cement introduces a new dimension and expands the brand’s expressive possibilities; adding depth, controlled irregularities and a sophisticated tactile quality, the compelling material option furthers the uniqueness of each piece.
For the spatulated cement option, four colours are available: White, Ocher Yellow, Bulgaro Red and Dark Brown; and for the powder-coated metal version, five finishes are available: White, Sand, Grafite, Brown and Black.
Meanwhile, the tops come in marble or coordinated cement to further strengthen the dialogue between material and form. The result is compositions that express a strong yet balanced character.
The same four spatulated cement colours are available for the top, and the marble options include: Beige Travertino Romano, Calacatta White Vagil, Marquinia and Tinos Green.
