A collaboration between Sweden-based designers Stefan Borselius and Thomas Bernstrand for Blä Station, the Veva table is an intentional return to simple, straightforward and easy-to-recognize objects.

As self-described functionalists, the designers Borselius and Bernstrand developed the Veva table to require direct intervention and interaction by the user — the height of the Veva table is manipulated by a manual hand-crank that can raise and lower the surface as desired.

The old school-inspired telescopic tables have a refined and balanced silhouette, with thin and perfect circles providing both a stable base and a generous top. Joined by a slender tube-like leg, the Veva table is made from chromed or lacquered steel with a steel or composite laminate surface; the manual hand-crank is encased in zinc.

Two versions are of the Veva table by Borselius and Bernstrand are offered, with heights that range from 52 to 72 centimetres and 90 to 120 centimetres; the tabletop diameter for each is 52 centimetres. A range of colourways available for the base, top, tube and crank handle allow for monochrome or mix-and-match designs.
