Nomad Collection by Forming Function

Nomad table lamps by Forming Function

Swedish technical accessories brand Forming Function recently expanded its Nomad lighting system to include a taller profile and two new colours: Vermillion Red (shown) and Violet Blue. Designed by Form Us With Love, the portable lamps are made from 100 per cent recycled aluminum and feature sleek recessed power strips or movable tabletop blocks, each with two, three or four outlets and USB-C charging ports.

Bloom by Hwang Bishop

Bloom table lamp by Hwang Bishop

Part of a 16-piece collection inspired by desert botanicals and wind-carved dunes, the handcrafted Bloom table lamp by ceramic artist and Hwang Bishop founder Felicia Hwang has a lovely sculptural quality that is enhanced by a palette of nine saturated matte glazes that absorb light rather than reflect it.

3
Phantom by Normann Copenhagen

Phantom table lamp by Normann Copenhagen

Made with a special semi-transparent resin material, the Phantom collection designed by Simon Legald for Normann Copenhagen casts a warm, ghostly glow. Fashioned after archetypal chandeliers and columns, the new table (and floor) lamp version expands on the existing series of voluminous pendants.

Stala by Hollis+Morris

Stala table lamps by Hollis+Morris

A refined interpretation of natural dripstone sculptures like stalagmites and stalactites, the Stala portable table light from Toronto’s Hollis+Morris is composed of a frosted glass orb set upon one or two turned-wood spheres; the base is available in white oak in three finishes — natural, white or black — or natural walnut, as well as a new “colour drench” option, shown.

4 Tiny Table Lamps Making a Big Design Statement

While short in stature, these four table lamps are brimming with personality.
