At the epicentre of Manhattan’s Chelsea neighbourhood, Dune transformed a 1500-square-foot space into a state-of-the-art fro-yo shop. The stark white space features a 30-inch-long bar, a light show and is appropriately furnished with Dune’s candy-coloured furniture.

The wall across from the topping bar features two large cavities, each framed with Hubba Bubba-hued banquettes. Near the entrance, Dune installed benches, stools and side-tables, while jelly bean-shaped light fixtures are sprinkled throughout the space.

But all the action happens at the back of Flavaboom, where the self-serve yogurt machine wall is installed. Five fro-yo dispensers (offering flavours that include Rasta Raspberry, Tartanic and P. Nutty) are surrounded by LED lights encased in handmade acrylic diffusers that can be adjusted to create a light show for dine-ins and passersby.
