Norguet, who has designed everything from Lea Ceramiche’s Waves and Lines tiles to Plain Air, a wall-mounted air purifier, comes an effortlessly beautiful stackable chair. Made from a combination of solid oak and oak plywood, the chair pairs razor-straight angled back legs with a curved back rest. This simple elegance is typical of Norguet-Alki collaborations. The French designer’s previous collection with the manufacturer – Silvera – is a series of streamlined tables and tall chairs.
The Makil chair debuted last week at Maison&Objet.
