Just steps from Minotti and Fendi Casa‘s flagship, Poltrona Frau Group has comfortably settled on a new tract of land in the posh design district, minutes from the Miami shore.
Overseen by Giampiero di Persia, head of the Miami arm, the company opened the 2,500-square-metre showroom (which also features a rooftop garden) last December. Encased in a funky fractal envelope, in slate, tangerine and violet, with tall windows, the new HQ is home to the group’s own line and furnishings by its partners, Cassina and Cappellini.
The first floor will house products by the two partners as well as a design- and architecture-dedicated bookstore, while the second floor is adorned with vignettes solely featuring Poltrona Frau’s goods. Additionally, fixtures from the Nemo Cassina lighting brand can be found on both floors. Cappellini’s outdoor pieces will furnish the outside terrace.
Hot off the heels of launching its partnership with American office system manufacturer Haworth for the Haworth Collection, Poltrona Frau Group continues to expand in North America. It’s expected to open two more showrooms in the U.S. and one in Canada within the next year.
