During Toronto’s design week, Relative Space – which was the title sponsor for the Conversations in Design symposium – revealed its recent expansion and unveiled its new flooring product lines.
The showroom, in Toronto’s up and coming Dupont and Bathurst streets area, now welcomes patrons with a revamped entrance and more event-friendly showroom space.
In addition to engineered wood floors by Cadorin and Foglie D’Oro – both new to the showroom – Relative Space now carries carpet tiles by Vorwerk, a German company known for providing contract environments with durable, stain-resistant carpeting. Hadi Teherani’s Scale collection, for example, is residential-friendly; the assymetrical tiles are available in three piles and 16 colours (stop by the showroom in the next few weeks to see the Vorwerk window display by local artist Ilona Fiddy). Shoppers can also check out Sweden’s byHenzel wildly-patterned rugs and ethereal lighting by Catellani & Smith, whose pendants and lamps are also new additions to the showroom.
Visit Relative Space in Toronto at 365 Dupont Street and in New York at 2 Bond Street.
