Established by Ambrish Arora, Ankur Choksi and Sidhartha Talwar in 2002, Studio Lotus is a multi-disciplinary design firm with a distinctly contextual approach that “celebrates local resources, cultural influences, a keen attention to detail and an inclusive process.” For almost two decades, the leading practice has put this ethos to the test, building a rich portfolio of projects — from sprawling residences to evocative adaptive reuse projects and more.

Krushi Bhawan, one of Studio Lotus’ most recent projects, champions sustainability as well as local craft.

Widely published and the recipients of a number of international accolades (from the World Architecture Festival and the Indian Institute of Architects, among others) since its founding, the over-50-person office continues to shape contemporary architecture in their native India and beyond.

Stay tuned for more face to face interviews with global creatives!
