Ædifica is seeking a bilingual intermediate technologist to join their Montreal-based team.
THE ROLE
- Develop plans and produce technical drawings based on design or instruction drawings.
- Design and produce details while respecting norms and standards.
- Follow the directives of the technical program to ensure compliance.
- Ensure the application of building codes, municipal regulations or any other report or technical document related to the mandates assigned to you.
- Develop technical solutions in accordance with the conceptual orientations predefined in the mandate.
- Interact and collaborate in resolving technical problems with different professionals.
- Carry out readings and draw them up on computer files.
- Ensure the classification and archiving of computer files and other documents relevant to various projects, ensuring their updating and integrity, according to office procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- DEC in architectural technology
- Eight years experience in a similar position
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software
- Interest in design
- Attention to detail
