Summer 2026

The June/July/August 2026 edition of AZURE is dedicated to our 16th annual AZ Awards — and also features the best of Milan, the New Museum’s expansion, the latest in building envelope systems and more!

The AZ Awards issue packs much more than our winners and finalists — though they certainly take pride of place. (And you can read all about them on our dedicated AZ Awards site.)

Five patterns have been added to the London Chic Type II commercial vinyl and Mylar wallcoverings, each with its own unique personality and purpose, with three of the new additions emulating the look and feel of woven and hand-painted textures.

Similar to a basketweave, Granary Square has the appearance of a chunky woven fabric on a vertical orientation, accented with metallic striations and textural embossing. The palette consist of light and dark hues along with several shades of grey.

Me and General Design stretched the familiar shape of a diamond with Echo. Parallel lines that are slightly askew fill the pattern, giving it a shifting energy. Offered in seven colourways.

Walthamstow translates the handcrafted technique of comb marbling – the act of raking paint into swirling patterns – to the rotogravure process. Neutral tones are given colourful accents and Mylar streaks in three colourways.

The most subdued, Westminster has a simple painterly yet elegant quality. Neutral and darker toned hues make up the colourways available.

Nouveau, Me and General Design’s second contribution, again uses a diamond as its base, this time repeating it in a mirrored sequence. Matte off-white, sand and dark grey grounds serve as bases for the decorative linework.
