Tonica Ottomans by Casala

Streamlined and compact, the Tonica family of ottomans was inspired by the function and comfort of a horse-riding saddle. Designed by Francesco Favaretto of Italy’s Favaretto&Partners Design Studio for Casala, the collection is comprised of one- and two-seater elements, along with multi-seat islands and tables.

Ideal for multi-functional workspaces, the ottomans can be used to create relaxed lounge settings, to support dynamic group meetings and to enhance existing office setups.

Tonica’s one-seater modules can be equipped with storage cavities for tablets, books and other necessities, and can also feature a carrying handle or wheels for ease of movement. The islands and table pieces, meanwhile, can be integrated with USB-charging ports and electrical outlets.

The island – in two sizes – also features an optional central backrest for added user comfort (which can also be integrated with wireless charging and electrical).

Multiple upholstery options are offered, allowing for aesthetic customization; table surfaces are available in oak veneer or solid walnut or oak.
