A collaboration with The Future Perfect gallery, Fragments was originally a hand-painted custom wall mural. Now, it’s offered in a printed version (with eight colourways) that sees the watercolour-like artwork issued on a fine, slubby woven material by Calico formulated with pieces of recycled glass and natural rubber.
Transmitting the look of traditional textiles, Pixel by Innovation’s linear patterning features subtle metallic glints that create a sense of movement. Available in nine colourways that range from pastels to jewel tones, the Type II vinyl is one of 10 offerings in the Harmony series and is suitable for use in high-traffic settings.
One of four patterns inspired by animal homes in the Dwellings series, designer Jill Malek’s Cocoon is defined by undulating swirls evocative of the spun-silk structure it’s named for. Printed standard on Type II vinyl or customized on coated paper, grasscloth or felt, it can be detailed with hand-sewn felt for dimension. Offered in four colourways, with Ocean shown here.
A free-form composition of horizontal and vertical lines, this three-dimensional design from Phillip Jeffries takes a page from traditional hand-blocked printing techniques. The plaster-like material is part of the three-piece, all-matte-white Casting collection, which references sculpted marble and bas relief work to create the look of a hand-carved wall.
