A slight bend in the multifunctional FSB 1155 lever by FSB allows it to be opened using a hand or elbow, making it an ideal option for hospitals, long-term care centres and other high-traffic settings. Offered in satin or polished stainless steel, it is impervious to scratching and highly resistant to commercial grade disinfectants and cleaning agents.

More than four years in development, Designer Doorware’s new Black Satin PVD finish has deep slate and grey undertones and is smooth to the touch. Durable and resistant to corrosion and abrasion, the surface can now be applied to nearly all of the brand’s interior hardware offerings.

A mix-and-match series of levers, knobs, stems and rosettes, Emtek‘s line of Emtek Select hardware has expanded to include luxe marble and industrial knurled levers that each offer a different tactile experience. Coordinating or contrasting rosettes are offered in round, square or rectangular iterations for customizable installments.

A square neck transitions gracefully into a wing-like lever — both only 13 millimetres thick — in this Patrick Norguet design for Ento. Made from brass, the Elan piece has a pleasing heft and can be finished in chrome (shown), satin chrome, high-performance graphite or an anti-fingerprint matte black enamel.

Designers Mario Mazzer and Giovanni Crosera looked to New York’s Guggenheim Museum and modern sculptures for the sinuous lines and balanced geometry of Intona for Manital. Six finishes are available: epoxy matte black (shown) or matte white, glossy or satin chrome, bronze and satin nickel.
