For a fourth year, Fresh Taiwan is exhibiting at the NY NOW summer expo, showcasing products by 10 emerging Taiwanese designers, including 22STUDIO, CELIA&PERAH, eguchi toys, Kamaro’an, Kanari, Mordeco, PAPER SHOOT, Studio Smoll, Yenchenyawan design studio, and ystudio.

Fresh Taiwan launched back in 2012, organized by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture and executed by Taiwan Design Center, to elevate the profile of state’s design industry at international trade fairs. This is Fresh Taiwan’s first international event in 2019, and later in the year it will head to Maison et Objet Paris then Style Bangkok Fair.

All 10 Fresh Taiwan design brands exhibiting at NY NOW Summer 2019 are material-led, each with their own unique style of Taiwanese minimalism. Almost all of their products are completely plastic-free, focusing instead on materials such as brass, concrete, Jesmonite, leather, and wood.
