ONE Architecture & Urbanism is seeking an Architect and Urban Designer with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience. They are looking for self-motivated and nimble architects excited about design at all scales. The right candidate must be passionate about climate action, sustainability, and the design of the public realm.

ONE Architecture & Urbanism is an internationally renowned planning, urban design, and architecture practice specializing in large-scale climate adaptation planning, resilient infrastructure design, and public architecture. Based in New York and Amsterdam, the firm has a unique approach that integrates diverse policy, climate, and urban issues into a design process that allows for bold and inclusive transformations of the environment.

They are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about urban design, streets, and the public realm.
• Has experience working on public infrastructure and/or civic buildings
• Is interested in the technical complexity of building infrastructure in a dense urban environment.
• Is a team player and strong communicator who will work with senior and intermediate team members to develop design alternatives, visual representations, and detailed documentation. Has strong verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Accredited Degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture.
• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills.
• Fluency in Autocad, Rhino, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of low-carbon and sustainable construction approaches.
• Knowledge of Revit and ArcGIS.
• Experience in designing and specifying green infrastructure systems.
