Autonomous Travel Suite

The Autonomous Travel Suite – the brainchild of Steve Lee of Aprilli in Toronto – is a mobile hotel room. Equipped with sleeping, working and washroom amenities, the self-driving electric vehicle will pick up travellers at their front door (or the airport) and take them wherever they want to go. Lee envisions a chain of luxurious Autonomous Hotels – mother ships into which the motorized suites can dock. Instead of the hassle of checking in, guests will simply ascend a ramp and then drive right into their hotel room, which includes a port for the mobile unit. Lee’s goal is to combine transportation, accommodation and relaxation into one seamless (and driverless!) experience.
