The new Pop Art-inspired Pictoria tile collection from Tile Club layers texture and dimension into a range of interior spaces. Made from honed and textured marble, the Pictoria collection features two graphic patterns that combine a variety of geometric shapes to great effect. The two styles – Eclipse and Mod — are available in 30-by-30-centimetre formats; a mesh backing on the tiles allow them to interlock effortlessly with concealed seams.
Both designs incorporate a specially curated selection of waterjet-cut Italian marble mosaics, including Nero Marquina, Grigio Toscano, Antelope, Bluebelge and Verde Cipollino.
With the Eclipse pattern, elongated linear forms in varying widths and differently sized circles collide, intersect and overlap. To create depth and contrast, thickness of the geometric elements range from 10 millimetres to 14 millimetres, resulting in a raised surface that plays with shadow and light.
Mod, on the other hand, features a playful mix of square and rectangular pieces and curved forms that vary from full circles to segmented ones. The distinct arrangement of shapes lends the tiles a sense of movement and dimension.
Both Eclipse and Mod are available in three tonally deep colours: Rose, a soft blending of pink, peach, grey and white; Earth, with a range of browns, greys and whites; and Bold, a high-contrast mix of grey, white and black.
Water- and heat-resistant, the Pictoria collection from Tile Bar is suitable for installation in wet areas like steam rooms and showers as well as for fireplace surrounds, kitchen backsplashes and flooring.
