Vuelift Mini elevator by Savaria

Panoramic views, clean lines and a sleekly curved glass design. In the growing field of residential mobility, it’s a description worth of only one elevator: Savaria’s new Vuelift Mini.  A seamless combination of technical and aesthetic sophistication, the Vuelift Mini transforms a mobility solution into a tasteful home feature or a design centrepiece in its own right.

A compact footprint of just 50 inches in diameter and a cylindrical glass hoistway lend Vuelift Mini unparalleled versatility. Whether in the heart of an open space, in a corner against a wall or in the centre of a spiral staircase, the elevator’s 360-degree, clear-glass construction makes for an understated, modern presence that elevates a wide range of interiors. The integrated hoistway also allows for accelerated all-in-one installation – and easier retrofits – eliminating the need to construct a visually obtrusive shaftway.

According to Savaria President and CEO Marcel Bourassa, Vuelift Mini demonstrates that future-proofing for mobility doesn’t mean compromising on design. “We are working with savvy builders and architects who understand that adding a Savaria Vuelift to their projects gives them a leg up,” says Bourassa. “This elevator’s versatility fits many styles and needs, from stair-intensive townhomes to retrofits and vacation properties.”

The advantages of Savaria’s sleek finishes and integrated hoistway are plain to the eye, but what’s under the hood is just as impressive. Vuelift Mini’s winding drum drive boasts quiet operation, a 225-kilogram capacity, and a full complement of safety features, including battery back-up in case of a power outage.

The lifts can also be configured with up to six stops and just over 15 metres of travel. Moreover, the unit can be wired from either the top or the bottom to best suit available space and provide easy access for servicing, and the controller can operate from up to 30 metres away.

Savaria also offers customization options to ensure its design complements any home. Featuring curved cab and landing doors, the Vuelift Mini is available with a choice of UV-resistant glass or clear acrylic. Alongside the standard black frame, clients can also specify white and silver finishes as well as custom powder-coated colours.
